Accepted Answer

Question 4

What is the difference between a backhoe and a skid steer?

Accepted Answer

The primary difference between a backhoe and a skid steer is their design and functionality. A backhoe loader is a multi-purpose machine with a digging bucket on the back and a loader on the front, used for both excavation and material handling. A skid steer is a smaller, more maneuverable machine used for tasks that involve loading, digging, and grading, often in confined spaces. Skid steers can be fitted with various attachments, but they do not typically have the same digging capabilities as a backhoe.
