Te koop Bristol LD6G Lodekka, één van de oudste dan wel niet de oudste Lodekka welke origineel met een Gardner motor geleverd is.
Deze Lodekka uit het eerste productie jaar onderscheid zich op vele aspecten van de latere Lodekka’s.
Zo heeft deze bus de zogenaamde lange grille, een stalen motorkap en is het voorfront volledig van staal en aluminium.
Wat deze bus verder bijzonder maakt en uitermate geschikt voor restauratie, is hoe origineel en compleet de bus nog is, dit komt omdat de bus van 1976 tot aan 2025 van één eigenaar is geweest!
Deze eigenaar heeft de bus in 1976 rechtstreeks uit ‘dienst’ gekocht en heeft de bus verder in eigen kleuren gemaakt, maar niets aan verbouwt.
De bus is in nette staat, maar om deze perfect te krijgen verdient deze wat aandacht.
Ook het interieur van de bus is in nette staat, u kunt het zo laten als het is voor de echte vintage look, of het renoveren om de bus er weer als nieuw bij te laten staan.
Het chassis van deze bus is in bijzonder goede staat, hier zit nauwelijks werk aan enkel een keer opnieuw in de lak zetten zodat het weer 70 jaar mee gaat.
Deze bus heeft in Engeland dienst gedaan op de Isle of Wight, dit was vooral een toeristische locatie, waardoor de bus voornamelijk in de zomer veel gebruikt werd, maar in de winter werden deze nauwelijks gebruikt.
Omdat de bussen in de winter minder te rijden hadden was er meer tijd voor onderhoud en natuurlijk minder kilometers.
wat uniek is bij deze bus is dat we het zogenaamde logboek van the Isle of Wight bij de bus hebben.
De aandrijflijn van de Bristol bestaat uit een Gardner 6LW motor welke aan een handgeschakelde versnellingsbak met 4 versnellingen gekoppeld is.
Het remsysteem bestaat uit een Hydraulisch systeem wat vacuüm bekrachtigd is.
Deze busheeft nog zijn originele Engelse papieren.
