Double-decker bus Detroit Diesel American Silver Eagle MK 05 Coach

Silver Eagle 05 (left-hand drive). The classic (1975) American Eagle ex Trailways freeway cruiser. Ultra-rare in Europe it has the famous Detroit Diesel two stroke engine which will power the coach to 130 kph - and sounding fantastic. Automatic transmission; all-dural riveted panelled coachwork, in excellent condition. The Detroit Diesel has been fully serviced by the manufacturer's agency in South Wales (UK) and is in top condition. The interior is fitted out for a US Beer promotion and as such would form a natural basis for an inspired mobile bar or foodtruck. There is a custom made aluminium external stairs to the rear emergency door and enormous under-floor lockers for its stowage and for plenty of other equipment/cargo. We have adapted the bus lighting to satisfy UK MoT requirements; we have renewed the rear light lenses (see photo) and it is evident that all spare parts for this model are still available from the US.
