A caravan is a non-motorized trailer that is towed behind a road vehicle. It is attached with a special hook. You can unhitch and drive around in your tow vehicle when you reach your destination. A caravan can be compact enough to be pulled behind a car, or it can be a luxurious palace-on-the road. Most caravans have a single axle and are between 3 and 6.5 meters long inside. But there are caravans available with even more than 10 meters long. Depending on the internal layout, they can accommodate from two to six people.
